This week on THE SKINNY CONFIDENTIAL HIM & HER PODCAST…

( 0:55 ): Welcome back to TSC HIM & HER Show. #280: On this episode we are joined by Topsie VandenBosch. Topsie is a mindset coach committed to helping female entrepreneurs who are struggling with toxic thought patterns, negative thoughts, and beliefs. On today’s episode we discuss how to be anti-racist, how to invite others into hard conversations, how to listen and learn from another persons experience, and how to educate yourself to be a better person. We also discuss mindset for entrepreneurs and individuals looking to improve their circumstances and break through mental walls.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS WITH

( 3:01): Michael asks, 3:01- Lauryn details how her and Topsie met & what led to this particular podcast episode

(12:29): Michael says, “There’s so many things I want to cover on this episode, but I learn more about- you touched on your childhood a little bit- let’s get a little bit of background. What was your childhood like? Where’d you grow up? What was your background, and how did you get into the space that you’re in now?”

(14:32): Lauryn asks, “What were you exposed to that you don’t think people were exposed to?”

(15:28): Lauryn asks, “So if there is someone out there that’s young that’s listening to this and experiencing racism like you did when you’re little, what are your tools in your toolbox?”

(19:28): Lauryn asks, “How have you taken it upon yourself with everything that’s going on to have conversations with him?”

(22:44): Michael asks, “When you see statements like that, how do you feel?”

(27:46): Lauryn asks, “How did you feel during that whole week? What does it feel like?”

(31:25): Lauryn asks, “Do you agree that it’s not your job to educate us?”

(34:46):  Lauryn asks, “So if someone’s out there and they’re listening and they’re a friend, let’s say they’re a friend of yours, I’m not saying it’s your job to educate but is there a direction you’d point them in?”

(42:50): Lauryn says, “There’s a lot of people listening with kids. I just had a baby. Again, I don’t want to ask you what I should do, I want you to say what a good direction to go in with this. Is Google a good direction? Where do I go with this? I want to raise someone who is an open-minded, non-judgemental, accepting person.”

(45:29): Michael asks, “As you’ve heard us talk, where are we wrong?”

(49:45): Lauryn asks, “I want to know how you are being an example in your community.”

(52:48): Lauryn says, “Let’s talk about your platform. You are obviously very, very educated in the life coach situation and you said you worked in mental health too. Okay, we didn’t get to get to that full story. Can you walk us through that?”

(55:30): Lauryn asks, “Let’s say Kristen in Louisiana has a mental block in something entrepreneurial. What advice are you giving her?”

(58:06): Lauryn asks, “What is the common denominator that you see across the board where people are going wrong?”

(59:06): Lauryn asks, “What’s the common denominator with success? You obviously work with very powerful women.”

(1:01:43): Lauryn asks, “For audience members that are listening, is there some kind of homework they can do at home? Any tips, any tactics?”

(1:03:58): Lauryn says, “You’re very confident. Which I appreciate so much? Do you have any things that you do to work your confidence muscle?”

(1:04:16): Lauryn says, “Before you go, pimp out your coaching courses.”

(1:05:18): Lauryn says, “And shoutout a black-owned business that you fucking love.”
