Who Is Tyler Henry? Meet “The Hollywood Medium”
Tyler Henry is a clairvoyant medium raised in small town Hanford, California. His fame stems from the many readings he has given for some of Hollywood’s biggest names. His client roster includes people like RuPaul, the Kardashians, and LaToya Jackson. Plus, he’s met with almost every Real Housewife in circulation no wonder Lauryn loves him!
Unlike other spiritual gurus, Tyler is soft-spoken, polite, grounded, and surprisingly analytical. He’s not sweeping around in fancy robes with smoke billowing around his every step. There’s no crystal ball or fancy gimmicks. He seems like just a guy with a legal pad and a pen. But, he’s confident in the knowledge that something bigger is going on.
His work is part therapy, part spiritual experience, and part investigation. At 28, he’s become the face of mediums nationwide. He doesn’t need bells and whistles for his gift to shine. All he needs to do is be himself, and the messages come through loud and clear.
How Did Tyler Henry Become A Medium?
Tyler told us his gift first manifested when he was 10, on the night his grandmother died. According to him, he knew she’d passed before anyone had told him. He didn’t have a name for the gift then, and kept the knowledge to himself at first. But, like all great gifts, nature shines through eventually. By high school, he was giving readings to classmates and teachers. Then, in his early 20s, he was already reading for celebrities on E! Television. Despite the huge influx of fame, Tyler stayed true to himself. He credits his mother as a grounding force in his life.
Has Tyler Henry Ever Been Wrong?
Short answer: yes. Tyler’s answer: “Even Michael Jordan misses some of his free throws, baby!”
He openly acknowledges that his readings aren’t perfect which is part of why he comes across as so genuine and real. He says his gift is better attuned to one-on-one conversations, rather than predicting things like natural disasters. But even within a smaller scope, Tyler gets it wrong from time to time. He says, “there’s always room for misinterpretation,” but that he generally gets it right 85% of the time.
