Who Is Heather Dubrow? From Actress to Bravo Royalty
Heather Dubrow is so many things—actress, podcast host, author, tastemaker, luxury real estate investor, entrepreneur, influencer, reality TV star, and mother of four. Most notably, she’s a fan-favorite cast member on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Before her time on RHOC, Heather spent years working in Hollywood. She was on popular sitcoms like Stark Raving Mad, That’s Life, Hawaii Five-0, and Jenny. During that time, Heather also married her husband, world-renowned TV plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow. Together, they built their careers and developed a reputation in their high-profile community for living a sophisticated, aspirational lifestyle.
Because of this, when producers of the Real Housewives wanted to add a polished, upscale personality to the high-drama cast, Heather Dubrow was the obvious choice! She appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2012, during season 8 of the hit series.
Why Did Heather Dubrow Leave RHOC?
Heather left in season 11 for a lot of reasons—none of them bad! At that point, Heather was raising young kids, renovating a 22,000 square-foot mansion, hosting a podcast, taking acting gigs, and launching a health and wellness brand with her husband. Heather simply left to really focus on her family and emerging personal brand.
When her kids got older and her projects felt more settled, Heather made her big return in season 16. She was welcomed back instantly and remains a fan favorite cast member! That said, only time will tell if she’ll return for another season.

As of 2025, Heather wrapped filming of season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Though there’s been no official talk about her departure or return to RHOC, many fans saw her final storyline of the season as a farewell. Nonetheless, we’re all hoping to see more of Heather soon!

Heather can always be found at Bravo’s biggest events. She was just at BravoCon 2025 and met fans, participated in panels, and reunited with old cast members.
