Who Is Jett Puckett?
Speaking of being warm and charming, Jett Puckett is a content creator known for his genuine and lovable personality. Would you believe us if we told you Campbell said that Jett kept his life offline before their relationship? Even without social media, it didn’t take long for him to become the iconic influencer he is today.
With a passion for storytelling and a heartfelt connection to Campbell, Jett has captured the hearts of fans worldwide.
What Do Jett And Pookie Do For Work?
The couple didn’t spring into stardom overnight, which begs the question: what were their jobs before the TikTok videos?
Before social media took over, Campbell graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in marketing. Right after she graduated, she got a job as a flight attendant and made her move straight to Philly. While she loved the perks that came with the job, Campbell didn’t stick around for too long. She tried sales and pursued project management but still felt like she wasn’t finding the right fit. It wasn’t until another influencer (and now good friend) encouraged Campbell to ditch her corporate career in 2020 that she decided to pursue content creation full-time.
As for Jett, he was on the path to a career in corporate finance, specifically mergers and acquisitions. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2013, Jett went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania to earn his degrees in business and law. He worked in investment banking, helped merge hospital systems, and later moved into private equity. Although he’s “Pookie’s” partner in crime in social media, he now also works on business acquisitions.

Why Are Jett And Pookie Famous?
The world loves love, and Jett and Campbell are proof of that. Campbell spent a handful of years posting photo-based content on Instagram, only occasionally sprinkling Jett content on her stories. But once her followers started messaging her about how much they loved her relationship, things completely changed.
Campbell quickly realized that people didn’t just love the way Jett treated her; they enjoyed the authenticity. And she wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t just for show; this is genuinely how Jett treats her in real life! Lauryn even notes during the interview that Jett REALLY calls her Pookie off-camera. Who wouldn’t want to see more of that?
She also wanted to begin creating content for the girls. She thought… “Is this kind of treatment not normal? Everyone should feel like this!” This is the perfect reminder not to settle—there’s a Jett-and-Pookie-level love out there for everyone.
How Did Pookie And Jett Meet?
Back in 2016, Campbell was working as a flight attendant, and Jett was attending The Wharton School for Business. The two met by chance (or, as Jett likes to call it, divine intervention) when they crossed paths at a wine bar in Philadelphia. In the interview, Jett goes on to say… “I just walked up to the prettiest girl at the bar… prettiest girl I’d ever seen, introduced myself, and we fell in love right away. Within two days, I knew I was gonna marry her.” That story almost earned a few tears from Lauryn, and it surely earned a few from us.

Pookie And Jett Relationship Timeline
2015: The Beginning
We just told you how Pookie and Jett met, but we need to give you another funny tidbit Jeff shared about their love story. After they met, they immediately set up a “second” date, to which Campbell was about an hour and a half late. But hey, she was a flight attendant and her flight was late! Jett just said, “Thank God I waited.” We agree, Jett.
2016: The Engagement
Jett told Lauryn and Michael that after two days of talking, he and Campbell were inseparable. And, even better, he knew she was the one. After ten short months, Jett planned on proposing in the middle of Spain. But, thanks to a last-minute trip to Hawaii, he opted for an impromptu sunset proposal in Maui instead. And, of course, Campbell responded with an excited “yes.”
2018: Wedding Bells
April of 2018 rolls around, and Pookie and Jett get married at The Jefferson in Oxford, Mississippi. It was just as sweet and charming as you’d expect any Southern wedding to be. Check out this super cute montage of the wedding on Campbell’s Instagram!
2022: Move to Atlanta
Pookie and Jett were a little nomadic in their beginning stages, but they claimed it to be “pure bliss.” They started in Philly, moved to New York, headed to Houston, and then planted roots in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2022.
January 2024: TikTok Stardom
We’ve said it before, but it just takes that one viral video to change everything. In January of 2024, Campbell and Jett were filming a casual outfit video when Jett dropped the now-iconic line: “Pookie looks absolutely fire tonight.”
The video garnered over 10 million views, received hundreds of thousands of responses, and instantly gained internet fame. This is when Campbell took on her new identity as “Pookie,” and Jett became the gushy husband we all love.
June 2024: Pregnancy Announcement
In June 2024, Campbell took to social media to announce that she and Jett were expecting their first child. Jett and Pookie fans were thrilled, saying that they were excited to welcome “Pookie #2” to the family.

November 2024: Baby Paloma
On November 12, 2024, Campbell and Jett welcomed their daughter, Paloma Campbell Puckett, to the world.
