The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast#297- Dr. Habib Sadeghi

( 0:55 ): Welcome back to TSC HIM & HER Show. #297: On today’s episode we are joined by Dr. Habib Sadeghi. Dr. Sadeghi is the founder of Be Hive of Healing Integrative Medical Center. He specializes in a multi-disciplinary approach to chronic illnesses such as cancer and auto-immune disease with comprehensive treatment protocols that incorporate a wide range of interventions. On today’s episode we discuss how trauma can manifest itself as illness, how to discuss suicide, and how anger, fear, and hate can harm us if we hold onto it for too long.

( 3:03 )Michael says, “let’s get a little background on you, because you’re in a very, very interesting and unique field of medicine that I’m sure many people will be learning about for the first time here.”

( 3:52 ): Michael asks, “How does that manifest itself in your practice?”

( 3:59)Michael asks, “What issues do you most commonly see when people seek out your help or guidance?”

( 7:28 ): Lauryn asks, “So kind of what it is, if you’re having certain pains in the body, it’s coming from something deeper?”

( 26:16 )Lauryn asks, “if someone has been through trauma and they are having low thyroid, maybe anorexia, cancer, whatever it is, and they come to you what else do you prescribe to them? Do you prescribe yoga? A certain kind of yoga? What are the things you tell them to do?”

( 32:44 ): Lauryn asks, “What do you think about all these people who are so addicted to their phones- staring at their phones all day- and they’re complaining of depression and anxiety and panic attacks?”

( 36:44 )Lauryn asks, “So you’re just sitting there masturbating by yourself?”

( 55:28 ): Lauryn asks, “I want to go back to something you said earlier, which was one of the ways to heal from trauma is to write 12 minutes a day, and then burn it. Are there any other tangible takeaways you can give to our audience that will help them heal from a trauma?”

( 1:06:01 )Lauryn asks, “So what are some blanket tools to help guard yourself?”
